History shows that whenever an advance is achieved that threatens existing world views, there is resistance and opposition. This is all the more true if these existing world views are linked with big commercial interests whose survival is threatened by the new findings. The attacks on Dr. Rath by the pharmaceutical investment industry and their henchmen in medicine and the media are therefore not surprising.
If you are right that Cellular Medicine prevents and cures the most important endemic diseases, why did this not become medical practice a long time back?
Our health system is conceived, constructed and controlled by an investment industry, the pharmaceutical industry. This billion-dollar business is based on patentable, synthetic preparations which merely cover up symptoms but do not prevent or eradicate illnesses. The commercial basis of this investment business is the continuation of endemic diseases, since preventing illness damages its profits.
The worst enemies of this investment industry are effective, scientifically founded natural remedies that are based on non-patentable remedies. If these natural remedies become widely known, the pharmaceutical industry will lose markets worth billions. This is why the pharmaceutical industry and its henchmen combat Cellular Medicine and attack me personally. Since they are unable to sue me on scientific or legal grounds they resort increasingly to blatant personal defamation. Elsewhere, in contrast, people have moved on a lot. For instance the world-famous Stanford University in California invited me to give a lecture on Cellular Medicine's scientific breakthrough.
You accuse the pharmaceutical industry of pursuing commercial interests - but you yourself earn money too, surely, from the sale of your vitamin products.
The money earned from the sale of our vitamin products is divided equally between natural medicines research and the dissemination of these findings, i.e. health education about effective ways of preventing illnesses without incurring side effects. The pharmaceutical industry on the other hand uses its profits to perpetuate its business with disease and to "invent" ever new diseases. There is one figure that needs no explanation: the pharmaceutical cartel spends two times more on marketing its - mostly ineffective - products than it does on medical research.
